I take inspiration from every facet of existence, from sad or shameful moments to challenging or proud moments. In a similar way, I have no one idol, but I look up to many around me. It does not matter what their age, gender or race are - what matters to me are their values, thoughts and actions through which these are upheld. Inspiration is about giving out what is real within you, I am inspired by the wars, suffering and poverty I see in my country Sierra Leone. I am therefore inspired to helping vulnerable communities in giving out their best and their success stories being a source of motivation to others who are in similar circumstances that life will change for the better if you so desire. A good leader does not dominate nor dictate. A good leader produces other leaders, not followers. A good leader should understand the importance of service. Leaders are supposed to serve, but many people do not understand this. Nelson Mandela epitomizes the ideal serving leader as he served his native peoples to fight for human rights.
